Cars.com will post a false add (maybe a ‘too good to be true’) and then the details of that ad will change once you give your email and phone number requesting more information. I suspect they are either making money off of your info or from extra purchases like carfax, which you should be able to find publicly anyway. Don’t use this site.

When you post photos of your vehicle the site does not maintain those photos. If you call customer service they say there working on a fix for the site wide problem. Two weeks and I give up. Your not even trying. Avoid this website.
